About Attorney James Madsen

James Madsen is a criminal defense

lawyer who was born and raised in

Hunterdon County, New Jersey and

moved to the Lehigh Valley while

attending community college. 

Mr. Madsen began his education at

Raritan Valley Community College

and Northampton County Community

College.  His hard work yielded him

admission to American University

where he majored in Political Science. 

After graduating from American

University James was accepted to

The Earle Mack School of Law and

awarded a full scholarship.

 

Mr. Madsen has been employed by the

New Jersey Office of The Public

Defender, The Lehigh County District Attorney's Office, The Defender Association of Philadelphia and Community Legal Services of Philadelphia.  In addition, Mr. Madsen has spent over 500 hours providing pro bono legal services to the men, women and children of Philadelphia.

 

He now practices criminal defense in Northampton County, Lehigh County and other outlying areas.  Although Attorney Madsen practices primarily criminal defense, he also accepts pro bono work and court appointments in other areas if he believes he can help.
